SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
The Kiva Center has adapted our Public School Enrichment Offerings and created digital content to meet the needs of teachers and students during COVID-19.
We know that crafting engaging lessons for kids and meeting diverse learning needs while adhering to state educational standards is a tall order for teachers. We are here to help.
The Kiva Center helps educators support students’ need to have a practical application for academic learning. We provide standards-based workshops in life skills, environmental stewardship, and nature connection.

Our Programs Help Students to:
Learn hands-on skills essential to human health and survival

Gain skills and knowledge for environmental stewardship
Deepen their appreciation for nature and sense of connection to it

Bring Kiva Guest Teachers into your Classroom!
The above workshops can be taught as a stand-alone offering, or grouped into a series, culminating in a final project. Teachers may choose to combine online with in-person offerings.
For the 2020-2021 school year, The Kiva Center will provide free workshop programming (in-person and/or virtually) to a limited number of schools. Schools must meet at least one of our funding assistance requirements (listed in application). Free programs are provided on a first come, first serve basis.
