2026 Summer Skills Program:
A Summer of Discovery!

The Kiva Center Summer Skills Programs offer a series of focused, hands-on programs for children and teens ages 5–13. Each program centers on developing a specific skill through outdoor, experiential learning—inviting participants to build confidence, curiosity, and meaningful connections with peers. From creative and practical skill-building to water-based exploration and nature immersion, each week offers a distinct experience that supports growth, independence, and joy throughout the summer.
Programs take place on beautiful private land at the base of Lefthand Canyon, just outside of Boulder and nearby communities. This expansive landscape includes rock formations, forested areas, and access to Lefthand Creek, providing a dynamic and inspiring setting for learning and exploration. The land itself becomes a teacher—supporting hands-on practice, focused skill development, and a deepening relationship with the natural world.
Registration opens Wednesday, January 21 at 9:00 AM!
